[ Return To The Hall of Fame ]Although I admit that I have only made a few posts to this forum, I do read the posts and have learned numerous things that have been of help to me. I have also had a few laughs, got a little closer to a few folks and enjoy being a member. I too wondered about the obvious public posting of those who wanted their name deleted. It did seem to be an intentional affront to other members. I also wondered if those leaving the forum considered alternative methods of staying in contact with such a large group of their peers. There is no easier, cheaper and efficient way to stay in touch with any cross sectional group of movers. Of course you can always attend the state association meetings, once a year. You can run into a few folks at ERC, Household Forwarders etc. But who at these events wants to spend time with peers, there are customers to be attended to. And as you all know the cost keeps going up. Perhaps these are younger folks that cannot see the value of experience or divergent opinions. Perhaps they are the type of people that just do not have time to receive messages as their time is so filled with sending them. Whatever, I must say something to them and all forum members; In an old Kung Fu episode Kain is asked how he learned so much. His reply, "I listened."
